They are soft as a pillow,
And white as the snow.

They are usually chewy,
But when heated get gooey.

At campfires they're roasted,
And the outside gets toasted.

They melt as you swallow.
When they float in hot cocoa.

They come in a bag all blown up and puffy.
No matter how cooked they always stay fluffy.

Everyone grows up but no one outgrows,
The sticky sweet fun of yummy marshmallows.
