Busy Bird, A Silly Poem

An odd little bird lives in my town.
I see him now flying upside down.

He darts at dogs and chases cats.
He tries to snatch off people's hats.

The other birds fly straight and true.
They seem to have bird work to do.

But this bird loops and sways and swerves.
No straight lines for him, only curves.

He flies up high then dives at me.
I duck as he lands in a tree.

Then hear him whistle and start to sing,
As he puffs up and flaps each wing.

Preparing to take another pass,
To startle and to scare enmassse.

HO, HO, HO! Merry Christmas! - A New Counting Book

FREE Nov. 29 and Dec. 30!  Merry Christmas!  Click the picture of the cover to get your free copy in Amazon!

It may not be chilly where you are, but where we live, a nip is in the air. You can almost feel that first snow coming.  So exciting! We love winter. We love it for many reasons, but the top reason is Christmas. No time of year is as much fun as the holiday season. The traditions, decorations, food, and of course stories about the Christ Child and Santa.

Our newest book is our first Christmas board book for little ones. It is a countdown book about a Jolly Engineer who is counting down the toys he will deliver to a snow blanketed town on Christmas night.

We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and that this book not only helps celebrate Christmas, but also helps those little ones who are learning their numbers this holiday season.
